Sparring With Muay Thai Legends at Evolve MMA

Training and Sparring At Evolve MMA in Singapore

Sparring Muay Thai legends is incredibly fun… and incredibly humbling.

I knew before I even went to train at Evolve MMA in Singapore that it would definitely be a challenge moving around with guys like Nong-O, Pornsanae, Dejdamrong and others… but DAMN, they are so smooth, technical and hard to hit!

Not to mention we did 5 minutes rounds (which felt a LOT longer than 3 minutes) so it gave them more time to get my timing and rhythm down. Take a peak at some of my rounds of sparring with two Muay Thai champions Nong-O and Dejdamrong.

Although the Thai’s were going easy and having their way with me most of the time, I felt relatively comfortable sparring them and even felt like I won some exchanges as well. I can only imagine if they amped up their pace even a small percentage and really turned it up… I’m happy they didn’t 🙂

But training at Evolve in Singapore was absolutely incredible. Besides the fact that I got to wok with Muay Thai champions like Nong-O, Dejdamnrong, Pornsanae, Orono, Kru Yod, Sagetdao, Penek and others, I also got to enjoy the beautiful city of Singapore which was absolutely gorgeous.

Nong-O is a 3x Lumpinee Champion and 2x Thailand Champion. He's considered one of the best pound-for-pound fighters in Thailand.

I plan on coming back at some time in the future because the training was as good as it gets. I can only imagine how beneficial it would be working with these Thai legends on a daily basis… I feel like I would become an absolute BEAST! Of course this would be after getting my ass handed to me on numerous occasions haha

If you’re interested in traveling to Singapore to train with legends at Evolve MMA, make sure to check out Evolve Vacation packages to see what fits your needs the best. If you have the chance to make it there, I highly recommend it to anyone who has a serious passion for Muay Thai!
