If you’re like me, when you first started training Muay Thai chances are you punched with your arms and tightened up every muscle in your body when you threw a punch. This is a common obstacle many people come across, but this challenge is highlighted by those who have a weight lifting or body building background.
In this weeks Muay Thai Monday, my former boss and coach at Westchester MMA, Chad, asks for tips and drills for helping have his bodybuilding student relax her shoulders when throwing punches. This is what I had to say:
